Ailuropoda-orang Fauna

Fossil assemblage found in the 1930s in Hong Kong drugstores by G. H. R. von Koenigswald that included teeth of Gigantopithecus, orangutans, giant pandas (Ailuropoda), tapir, bear, rhinoceros, and a primitive species of elephant. Later finds in situ confirmed that these were contemporary Middle Pleistocene fauna.
