Archaeological site found in 1887 in Gerona, Spain, dated to 45-40 kya (U-series), and that contains hominid remains, including a mandible attributed to Homo cf. neanderthalensis. Researchers have reported that the mandible exhibits evidence of toothpick use. Aka Banyolas.
