Brues, Alice Mossie

Geneticist, forensic anthropologist; a student of E. A. Hooton, Brues made significant contributions to the knowledge of inheritances of polygenic traits. The 1954 paper on selection and polymorphism in the ABO blood group was an instant classic. President, AAPA (1971-73); author of People and Races (1977).
