Buia

Archaeological site found in 1995-7 in the Danakil desert, Eritrea, and dated to 1 mya. In addition to faunal remains, the site yielded some Acheulean-like tools; hominid remains included an early complete cranium, some isolated teeth, and a partial pelvis, all attributed to Homo ergaster (erectus).
