Archaeological site found in 1970 near East Lake Baringo, Kenya, dated to 1.34 mya, and that contains hominid remains including a cranial fragment attributed to Australopithecus cf. boisei (KNM-CH 1) and a fragmentary molar (KNM-CH 302).
