Chlororhysis Gazin, 1959

Genus of tarsiiform primate from the early Eocene of North America belonging to the omomyid subfamily Anaptomorphinae; two species; poorly known, but appears to be among the most primitive anaptomorphines. Estimated body mass around 160 g. Dental formula: 2.1.3.3/ 2.1.3.3; some workers suggest Chlororhysis was insectivorous, but not necessarily exclusively; some of the dentition attributed to this genus may actually belong to another organism.
