Djebelemur Martinezi Hartenberger And Marandar, 1992

Poorly known adapoid prosimian from the early Eocene of Africa, belonging to the notharctid subfamily Cercamoniinae; monotypic; some authors consider this genus to be allied with the anthropoids. Known from mandibular fragment containing cheek teeth; an associated maxilla is referred to Tabelia. Small body mass estimated at 100 g. Bunodont dental morphology and small body size suggestive of frugivory.
