Europolemur Weigelt, 1933

Genus of adapoid prosimian from the middle to late Eocene of Europe, belonging to the notharctid subfamily Cercamoniinae; four species recognized. Known from jaws, teeth, and a badly damaged skull. Estimated body mass ranges from 1400 to 1700 g for the different species. Dental formula: 2.1.4.3/ 2.1.4.3; dental morphology suggestive of a frugivorous diet with insect supplements.
