Florisbad

Archaeological site found in 1932 in the Transvaal, Orange, South Africa, dated to 39-38 kya (14C), and that contains stone tools of African Middle Stone Age culture. Hominid remains include a hyena-gnawed skull and vault fragments assigned to archaic Homo sapiens, possibly of the Australoid variety.
