Fort Ternan

Paleontological site found in 1959 near Koru in Kenya, dated to c. 14 mya (middle Miocene), and that contains hominoid remains including Kenyapithecus, Proconsul, and Ramapithecus. Superficially explored by L. Leakey in 1932.
