Golgi Apparatus

Cytoplasmic organelle consisting of a series of organized, folded membranes and vesicles in the cell that coordinate and store secretory products. Sugars, proteins and lipids are complexed to form starches, glycoproteins and glycolipids. Proteins are folded into their quaternary structures prior to transport. Aka Golgi body or complex.
