Holloway, Ralph H. (1936-)

US physical anthropologist and primate paleoneurologist at Columbia University. Holloway has published comparative descriptions of primate cranial anatomy, and speculated on the origins of speech and tool use. He also publishes on neural biological variability, sexual dimorphism in the human corpus callosum, and allometry. Co-author of The Human Fossil Record, Brain Endocasts: The Paleoneurological Evidence, Volume 3 (2004).
