Ignacius Matthew And Granger, 1921

Archaic mammal known from the middle Paleocene to late Eocene of North America belonging to the plesiadapiform family Paromomyidae; four species; may be descended from Paromomys. Known from dentition, jaws, and cranial fragments. Dental formula: 2.1.3.3/2.1.2.3; diet possibly fruit, perhaps with insect supplements. Body size of the species between 50 and 150 g.
