Kudaro-Tsona (cave Sites)

Archaeological site(s) found in the 1970s on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus in Southern Ossetsia, Georgia, dating to 360 kya for the levels that contain Acheulean artifacts, and 44 kya for the Levallois-Mousterian levels. Faunal remains are dominated by the cave bear. Includes nearby Tsona Cave.
