La Chaise

Archaeological site found in 1850 in southwestern France consisting of a complex of caves, dated to 151-71 kya (U series as early as 151 15 kya), and that contains Middle Paleolithic artifacts. Hominid remains from 3-4 individuals, including a possible female, are attributed to Homo neanderthalensis. Aka Suard, Abri Bourgeois-Delaunay.
