La Quina

Archaeological site found in 1908-10 in Charente, France, dated to 35-28 kya, and that contains artifacts of the La Quina type. Hominid remains from at least three individuals, including a partial cranium with a cranial capacity of 1350 cm3, were attributed to Homo neanderthalensis.
