Oberkassel

Archaeological site found in 1914 near Bonn, on the Rhine River, Germany, dated to 18-12 kya, and that contains Magdalenian implements and remains of fossil hominids, including two nearly complete skeletons attributed to Homo sapiens cf. Cro-Magnon. The skeletons had been treated with red ochre.
