Ofnet Cave

Archaeological site found in 1907-08 near Hohlheim, Bavaria, dated to the Mesolithic, and that contains the crania of 33 individuals assumed to be buried after decapitation, as the mandibles were removed and arranged in symmetrical concentric circles. No postcranial remains were recovered. The remains were attributed to Homo sapiens.
