Periconodon Stehlin, 1916

Poorly known adapoid prosimian from the middle Eocene of Europe; exact affinities in dispute; this genus has been included among the omomyids, adapids, and, most recently, with the newly created notharctid subfamily Cercamoniinae; five species generally recognized, but in dispute. Body mass estimated to range from 250 g to 1 kg. Dental formula unknown.
