Genus of fossil prosimian known from the early Miocene of Africa belonging to the family Galagidae; two species. Very similar to extant galagos, although it cannot be determined which genera it gave rise to. Body mass between 800 and 1200 g. Dental formula: 2.1.3.3/2.1.3.3; dental morphology suggestive of a combination of insectivory and frugivory; incisor roots suggestive of a dental comb. Smaller orbits indicative of nocturnality. Postcrania similar to extant galagos except tarsal bones not as long.
