Sungir

A periglacial archaeological site found in 1955 on the Klyaz’ma River north of Moscow in Russia dated to 24-22 kya; contains Upper Paleolithic artifacts (3500 bead ornaments, weapons, and carvings) including carved mammoth ivory spears. Hominid remains include an adult (buried with the spears), and two boys (ages 7-9, and 10-12), all AMHs. Aka Sunghir.
