Velika Pecina (Cave)

Archaeological site found in 1948 near Zagreb in the Hrvatsko Zagorje (northwestern Croatia), dating to 33 kya (level i, radiocarbon), and that contains Middle to Upper Paleolithic artifacts and hominid remains from level j that include a partial frontal bone assigned to Homo sapiens.
