White, Timothy D.

US osteologist and paleoanthropologist at UC Berkeley; PhD (Ann Arbor): has been an active field worker in Kenya and Ethiopia. White has co-described several fossil hominids, and has been a leader in the training of East African students in paleontology. Co-author (with P. A. Folkens) of Human Osteology (1991).
