Androgen

Any steroid substance in a class of gonadotropins secreted at higher levels in males than in females and consequently often referred to as the male hormones. Androgens are involved with the growth and stimulation of the sexual organs and are responsible for male sexual characteristics. The most abundant androgen is testosterone. Aka male gonadal hormone.
