Anticlinal Vertebra

Thoracic vertebra that is transitional between the anterior thoracic vertebrae, which have anterior facing spinous (neural) processes, and the posterior thoracic vertebrae, which are directed caudally. Marks the mid-point between the front and rear muscles of the back on a pronograde animal such as the jumping primates.
