Arm Circumference

Anthropometric measurement; distance around the upper arm as measured with a tape measure placed at the mid-point between the acromion process of the scapula and the olecranon process of the ulna; the tape is passed horizontally around the arm. Used to help determine protein mass and energy stores in adults.
