Autoradiography

1. a method of using radioactive molecules to identify their location after they have become fixed at some location in a cell, by producing a photographic image.

2. in DNA analysis, the placement of a final membrane containing a DNA fingerprint (or other outcome from electrophoresis) against X-ray film, where it is photographed. Aka autorad.
