Bâton Percé

Magdalenian antler artifact that usually has a hole that runs through it. Frequently, these tools are engraved with images of animals. The actual purpose of a baton tool is unknown, although it has been suggested that it was used to straighten spear shafts. Known as a bâton de commandement in the older literature.
