Biacromial Breadth

Anthropometric measurement of shoulder width; distance between the left and right acromion processes of the scapula as measured with an anthropometer; the subject stands while the measurer locates the most lateral borders of the acromion processes and makes the measurements across the back of the individual. Used in body frame indices, somatology, and human engineering. Aka biacromial diameter.
