Browsers

Animals such as giraffes, rhinos, some bovids, etc., that ingest food primarily by nibbling at the non-reproductive parts of woody plants. Owing to their predominantly C3 vegetation consumption, browsers have a decreased 13C ratio (13C: 12C) ratio. Aka C3 consumers.

See carbon isotope analysis.
