Chorioallantoic Placenta

Placenta that is composed of two membranes. The outer membrane is the chorion and the inner membrane is the highly vascularized allantois. This form of placenta is found in the metatherian bandicoots and most eutherian mammals, but not rodents and primates, who possess a chorionic placenta.
