Behavioral relationship in which two or more individuals act together for a mutually beneficial result; most activities in human societies presume some form of cooperation, from food market exchanges to political activities. Most behavioral biologists do not use the term cooperation for animal activities, although in some cases, such as baboon group hunting, this term is used.

See mutualism, altruism.
