Dental Mutilation

Abnormal tooth morphology of cultural rather than natural or pathological conditions; types of mutilation include extraction, pointing, cutting, filing, incrustation and drilling. Dental mutilation is believed to be related to adornment, mourning, initiation, and/or imitation of an animal’s dentition.
