Dentin

Hard, dense calcareous tissue that makes up the bulk of a tooth that lies under the enamel and encapsulates the pulp cavity; composed mostly of hydroxyapatite and other inorganic matter (70%) and organic molecules such as collagen (30%). Also spelled dentine.
