Erythroblastosis Fetalis

Disease of the fetus and newborn in which the blood cells of an Rh infant are destroyed by maternal antibodies produced by an Rh- mother; may also occur in other systems, such as the ABO blood group. Aka hemolytic disease of the newborn and hydrops fetalis.
