Frontal Index

An index of facial flatness, internal biorbital subtense 100/internal biorbital chord. The internal biorbital chord is the distance between the points on the outer edge of the orbits where the frontal and zygomatic bones join. The internal biorbital subtense is the area formed by bisecting an isosceles triangle created by joining the two points of the chord with the nasion.
