Gametic Gene Therapy

Alteration, through direct manipulation of a genome (gametes or fertilized zygote), of the alleles that will or will not be passed on from parent to offspring, resulting in human-mediated, instantaneous evolutionary change in a laboratory population or clinical setting. Aka heritable, germline and germ cell gene therapy.
