Graded Signal

Display that is variable with intermediate levels and can vary in intensity, frequency, or both. For example, in rhesus monkeys a stare is a low-intensity aggressive display, which may be increased with an open-mouth threat, ground slapping, growls, head bobs, etc. Aka analog signal.
