Haplotype

Static combination or set of genetic factors at more than one locus; it is the multi-locus analog of an allele; like alleles, haplotypes have haplotype frequencies in populations. Because mitochondria are haploid and all loci are linked, haplotype analysis is especially relevant in the case of mtDNA studies.
