Head Form

Shape of the head. Craniologists and cephalometrists believed that head form was the product of inheritance and assigned types based on measurements of populations. Head form has since been demonstrated to have an environmental component.

See brachycephalic, brachycranic, mesocephalic, mesocranic, dolichocephalic, dolichocranic, and face form.
