Hemophilia B

Rare, abnormal X-linked recessive condition in which clotting factor IX is deficient, which causes poor blood clotting (aka Christmas disease). Found in high frequency among several human populations; the prohibition against circumcision may be related to the high frequency of this condition in some groups.
