Human Variation

Physical and cultural differences among AMHs. Cultural variation includes differences in language, religious belief, clothing, and so forth. Physical variation includes differences in skin color, body shape, and blood groups, etc. Anthropologists believe that such variations, whether cultural or physical, have helped local groups of humans to adapt uniquely to a wide variety of environmental conditions.
