Hypomorph

1. in some archaic classifications, the proposal that a group or groups represent a less developed form of another group. The term was often invoked by those seeking to rationalize a hierarchy of human races.

2. in genetics, an allele that is not fully expressed, such as a party active enzyme; aka leaky allele.
