Mammoth Hunters

Late Pleistocene Ice Age peoples (AMHs) who ranged across open steppe-tundra plains of northern Europe, Asia, and Siberia from roughly 35 to 15 kya, establishing elaborate base camps from which they ranged outward in search of big game; since the plains were treeless, dwellings were constructed from mammoth bones and turf (sod).
