Mandible

Tooth-bearing bone that comprises the lower jaw; in anthropoids the mandible is a single fused bone, but in prosimians it consists of two separate bones joined by a mental symphysis. In other mammals this bone is referred to as the dentary. It is the only moving bone in the skull.
