Marine Exploitation

Utilization of marine resources; the exploitation of the narrow coastal zone is one of the characteristic cultural features of early AMHs. According to some archaeologists, exploitation of the marine biome may have provided the consistent resources that permitted AMHs to disperse out of Africa and to arrive eventually in Asia and Australia.
