Mixed-sex Group

Primate social unit with several adult males and several adult females and their offspring. These societies typically have a well defined dominance hierarchy among both the males and the females, although rank reversals may occur. Examples of mixed-sex groups can be found among baboons, macaques, and ring-tailed lemurs. Aka multimale group, multimale/multifemale group.
