Monsoon Forest

Seasonal tropical forest that has very defined wet seasons and dry seasons. On its borders monsoon forest grades into tropical rain forest. Deeper into its area monsoon forest contains a large percentage of deciduous trees and areas that are prone to drought as well as higher elevations than found in the evergreen tropical rain forests. Referred to as upland forest by some authors.
