Nasal Bone

One of a pair of bones of the facial skeleton that join at the mid-line to form the bridge of the nose. In the genus Homo these bones project out, whereas in the australopithecines these bones are flat against the face producing a flattened nose that contributes to the dish face of that group of humans.
