Nondimensional Species Concept

Defines a species as a set of sympatric and morphologically similar but noninterbreeding populations; lacking a statement of dimension in space and/or time.

Cf. multidimensional species concept. nondirectiveness: in genetic counseling, respect for a patient’s choice. A counselor does not force a professional opinion on a patient or otherwise influence the patient after presentation of background material and the patient’s options.
